About

Original art, placed with intention

Deadringer Projects builds art programs and collections for spaces where the art actually matters — corporate offices and hospitality venues, healthcare facilities, public institutions, and private homes. Every project starts from the same premise: art shouldn't be an afterthought bolted onto a finished space. It should be considered from the start, sourced with care, and placed by someone who understands both the work and the room it's going into.

Our focus

We specialize in original work from emerging, underrepresented, and regional artists — not because established names don't matter, but because some of the most interesting work being made today isn't sitting in a gallery waiting to be found. It has to be sourced directly, through real relationships with artists and regional networks. That sourcing work is the foundation of everything we do, whether we're building a single private collection or a multi-building program across a healthcare system.

How we work

Every engagement follows a version of the same process: understanding the space and the people who'll live or work in it, sourcing original work that fits both the aesthetic and the practical requirements of the project, and managing the full arc from acquisition through framing, shipping, and installation. The scale changes — a single painting for a home versus hundreds of pieces across a multi-building campus — but the care behind the process doesn't.

Kelly Kristin Jones

I come to art consulting as an artist first, with experience working with universities, commercial art galleries, fabrication studios, and private collections. After graduate school, I was recruited to oversee a corporate art collection, and that's where I fell in love with connecting artists and their work to the collections that need them. I believe every space deserves original artwork, and I work hard to match the right artist with the right collector.
